THE WARNING SIGNS OF DOMINIONISM

We are willing to bet that many are sitting in churches and are beginning to have “feelings” that something is just not right.  The sermons are changing.  The “management” is changing, and there is little or no talk of a lost and dying world.

First of all, if you are getting “feelings” that you cannot explain, it is very likely that you are feeling the conviction of the Holy Spirit.  Yes the Holy Spirit does many things in us once we are born again and get filled with the Holy Spirit.  But throughout the Bible, He has “convicted” man.  The utmost conviction is the conviction of sin and that is that nagging feeling we have when we have sinned and it is that feeling that leads us to repentance and brings us back into right standing with God.  Many know of the Bible from sitting in church for years listening to the Sunday sermons, or the big dusty book resting on the bottom shelf of the coffee table.  If you truly listen and not use that time in church to nap, you cannot help but pick up the general meaning of the Bible.  This is not acceptable as a Christian, and I know that the Holy Spirit has convicted you of this also.  But we will move on anyway.  You know enough of the Bible to know when the tone and sound and lessons of the Word start to change.  Some lash out at their pastors and elders and make it a personal issue.  Let me say here and now that we will never save anyone that is deceived by other ministering spirits by attacking the person.  It is human nature to become defensive.  Jesus taught us to love and that was his final request that we love one another as He loves us.  Yes, anger is probably the first feeling we have, but we must allow the Holy Spirit to minister to us and give us the solution.  At all costs we must keep the flesh out of the situation or the enemy of us all will enter in even more.  In fact, he depends on anger and judgment and discouragement as his prime weapons to tear the church apart.  Don’t do this.  We will endeavor to give you the tools that you will need to minister to these deceived souls.  Our goal is to get them to return to the teachings of the Cross, to Jesus and Him crucified, and to get the church back in the business of the Great Commission of going into all the world and preaching the gospel to every creature and setting captives free to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers.  We will now give you the “Warning Signs of Dominionism” which we believe is the most dangerous plague permeating the church today.  Then in the coming days, we will get into the mechanics deeper and deeper.

  • Bypasses the cross and the FINISHED work done there by Jesus.
  • Substitutes the “Gospel of the Kingdom”(as a creation of man), or changes the Gospel of salvation with the addition of the”man” made Kingdom message.
  • Teaches that the Cross was not a finished work and that the church must finish the work started by Christ and/or denies the faith of salvation through grace.
  • Places the church as the instrument of forgiving sins again replacing the Cross as a finished work and the salvation bought by Christ.
  • Removes the teaching of Original Sin and the inability of man to overcome that original sin but by the salvation offered by the finished work of the Cross alone.
  • Jesus is suddenly referred to as a “pal” “a go to guy” just a man and a prophet thus denying his Deity.
  • The church must conquer the earth, once again returning it to it’s perfection as described in Genesis as the Garden of Eden and God’s mandate for Adam and Eve to go and take dominion over the earth. And only then will the CHURCH summon Jesus to return to the Earth which is the most blasphemous thing ever created by the mind and flesh of man!
