So, You Want to go back to the LAWS OF SIN AND DEATH?

Slowly but surely Christians are reverting back to Jewish law in their churches.  This in itself seems very odd from just a common sense standpoint as most of us were never Jews to begin with.  We are Gentiles that were adopted into the body of Christ when the Jews refused to accept Jesus as their Messiah.  What an honor and privilege that was and is!  So at best we are just like children playing “tea party” with our dolls.  Even many of the Messianic Jews cling to the Jewish laws and feasts after they have accepted Christ.  Why?  Before the death and resurrection of Jesus, all were subject to the law.  And, sadly, all were to be judged by that law.  But the Word says, Romans 10:4-5 (KJV)
⁴ For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
⁵ For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.  Moses described the righteousness of the Law which is further stated in Romans 10: 5-8, but Paul points out that Justification is based on the Faith Principle, as opposed to the Works Principle.  This speaks directly of Christ and what He did on the Cross.  On that day and on that Cross, Jesus fulfilled the Law and gave us direct contact and fellowship with the Father once again, AND it totally atoned for sin.  All the ashes of all the sacrifices that were performed by the Priests under the Law, could never do that.  The blood of animals could cover sin, but never atone for sin.  That is why when men died prior to Christ, and having observed the Law, only went to the Paradise side of Hell!!  And when Jesus went to Paradise after his death on the Cross, he set those captives free and gave them full access to Heaven and God the Father.  To observe the Law again in our churches would be like asking Jesus to just let us go to Paradise in exchange for Heaven itself!!  I am sure that if one could discuss the Law with Moses now and ask him to perform the old rituals and observe the old Feasts he would readily refuse.  He would ask, “what would be the purpose of that old stuff again?  We now have Heaven and we can go ‘boldly before the throne’.”

Observance of the old law is also detracting from the purpose of the very death and resurrection of Christ himself.  It makes a mockery of the Cross and the finished work done there.  And if God Himself performed the ultimate and final blood sacrifice to forever stay the Law of Sin and Death, why would any sane and grateful Christian want to open that can of worms again?

Today’s churches are obsessed with the “law” as no more that a vehicle to get their hands deeper into your pockets.  The “Prosperity Preachers” love the law.  They preach that you have nothing because you “do nothing”.  Let’s try and remember that “works” are a dead work!  There is one scripture that is so accurate and has everything a believer needs in order to have a successful and abundant live.  John 15:7-8 (KJV)
⁷ If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
⁸ Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.   Now that says it all!!  But the part of that beautiful scripture that so many miss is the NECESSITY of having “God’s Word”, which is found in the Bible and no where else, in you!  We as Christians invest time in so many things.  We invest time in our jobs and whatever we have to do or study for promotions.  We invest time in our kids and their sports and school functions.  We invest time in our spouses, and we always have time to invest in our “toys”.  But precious few ever invest in their souls and their eternal destiny.  Sounds harsh, but this is so vital to our growth as Christians and it is our only defense against what the Word of God itself warned us about in these end times.  Then you ask, “How do I know it is the end times?”  Well, you would know if you were spending time with the Father in His Word.  I know that it seems that we keep harping on this…but there is so much “death” out there and your only protection is in the Word of God.  Then some will say that they cannot understand the King James Version of the Word.  Well, the Word begs to differ with you.  1 John 2:27 (KJV)
²⁷ But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.  This scripture assures us that the Holy Spirit, which abides in every believing and saved Christian, will always confirm if the word which you are hearing, is truth, and will warn if it is not.  So many have felt a stirring in their spirits when they have heard something preached that just does not set well.  But sadly, they only look around and see that everyone else seems to be okay with it and so they follow.  Instead, heed the urging of the Holy Spirit, and go into the Word and ask the Holy Spirit to point out truth.  The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth!  John 16:13 (KJV)
¹³ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Stop being used by the law!  Jesus Himself gives a warning to those who insist in following the law!  If man could EVER live perfectly by the law, Jesus would never have had to come and die!  Following the law, the feasts, the gates, the ceremonies, the seders, and wearing the prayer shawls, and the skull caps, and nailing items to your doorway, and the feast of the “first fruits”, and what's with the blowing of the shofars?  Our last church had at least 3 guys blowing these things.  We can go on and on and on and it only serves as a mockery of what Jesus fulfilled on the Cross!!  Galatians 3:10-11 (KJV)

Amazing Facts About “TARES”

We have been so deep into the evil things going on around us in our churches that  we decided that something a little more on the “WOW” side would break the dark mood.  We need to do that every once in awhile.  It’s good for the soul.

SHOCKING FACTS on “TARES”

Of course, we all know Jesus’ parable of the Wheat and the Tares.
Tares are plants that look just like wheat until Harvest time -
when it turns out that they were counterfeit. A while ago I learnt
some facts about Tares that truly shocked and surprised me.
When you look up the word “Tares” on Wikipedia, it comes back
with the equivalent plant named “Darnel.” This is exactly correct
according to most Biblical authorities. The Tares are almost always
considered to be the weed Darnel – also known as “false wheat”
which grows plentifully in the whole region around Israel. Here is
what Wikipedia says about it:
“It bears a close resemblance to wheat until the ear appears… It
parasitizes wheat fields. The French word for darnel is “ivraie”…
which expresses that weed’s characteristic of making one feel
poisoned with drunkenness, and can cause death. This
characteristic is also alluded to in the scientific name (Latin
temulentus = drunk)… The plant is mentioned in… the Parable
of the Tares in the Gospel of Matthew.”
So is this identification of Tares with “drunkenness” noted
elsewhere? Yes – many Bible dictionaries and encyclopedias say
exactly the same thing. In fact, the Faussett Bible Cyclopedia
states that “when mixed with wheat flour [it] causes dizziness,
intoxication, and paralysis” and says that bearded darnel is
known as “the only deleterious grain” among all the grasses.
On the giant website “Botanical.com” we read: “It is recorded to
have produced all the symptoms of drunkenness: a general
trembling, followed by inability to walk, hindered speech and
vomiting. For this reason the French call Darnel: ‘Ivraie,’ from Ivre
(drunkenness).”
Out of all the weed-type grasses, Tares are seemingly the only
ones that produce this deadly “drunken” effect. Isn’t that amazing?
In the parable of the Wheat and the Tares in Matt 13, Jesus states
that his “enemy” sows tares amongst the true wheat. Then He says:
“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will
say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in
bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” (Mt 13:30).

I guess I don’t need to point out the possible parallels with today’s
“Drunkenness”/ River movement. What an alarming insight – if it
does have relevance to what we have seen in those circles!! 

Also what comes to mind to me is the “False Prophets” that the enemy has planted in today's church as it sleeps, and are allowed to coexist  with God’s true Prophets, until the harvest when the counterfeit will be gathered and thrown into the fire..

RICK WARREN-Driving People From God With His Purpose!

There are times while I am researching books and ministries that I become so angry that I have to leave the computer and go and pray.  I cannot understand why some people are so “hell bent”, pardon the pun, on betraying the church and Jesus Himself.  It would seem that if you believe in anything enough to take it to the people around you, then you should be able to stand up and take full responsibility for your actions.  And yet so many of these men and women have people all round them that will deny that any evil intent was intended and they are back to talking about their dear Jesus again.  But as soon as the heat dies down, they are right back at it.  The true shame is that these false prophets aren’t even concerned that members of their “following” will start to investigate them.  They know that those who are following them have become followers of man and not Christ.  Being around these churches is like listening to our politicians hand out their snow jobs!!  Truth has become passé for these people.  To me, if someone wants to put a new spin on any topic, whether it is the Bible, or Jesus, or God, or trees, or gnats, or Global Warming, good for them.  Good for them.  But why do they always have the need to get the approval of millions of others to justify their existence?  And why is it so easy for them to do so?  I don’t know who I find more frustrating.  Those shepherds who lead the parade or those who join in the parade!  Has everyone in this world become so complacent that they can no longer look into what is directing and determining their lives?  Where did we come by this blind trust we display?  People lose millions of dollars each day by being taken in by fraud.  They take the easy way out.  They want instant gratification and a way to get rich quick.  The same behavior is apparent when it comes to their spiritual lives.  They want a church that tells them they are wonderful.  They never sin.  God loves everyone and there is no hell.  They want a church that will tell them how to prosper.  They want to be told how to” have life and have it more abundantly”.  They want the church to justify their lifestyle so they don’t have to make any changes in the way they live or the sin they may be living in.  They want to be someone.  They want to be known by men.  They want to go to church on Sunday, hear a quick and positive sermon and get on with their lives.  Does living in what used to be one of the richest and most democratic places on earth have to result in being spoiled to the point of mass ignorance?  I truly want to say no to that question.  But the facts are proving otherwise.  Souls and spirits are dying here and around the world because of false doctrine being bought hook, line, and sinker!  Once again I say, in order for these men to preach the false doctrine they do and in order for them to get rich from your money and time, they have to have an audience.  If everyone would invest a little time in their own souls and salvation, and get to really know the TRUE Word of God, then they would stand up and leave these churches and these false prophets preaching the “doctrines of devils”!!!  It would make it impossible for the enemy to use these men and women to pull you away from God.  These people need an audience as does the devil.  How about we just don’t give them one okay?

 I am going to lay out some pretty revealing things about Mr. Rick Warren and where his heart and mind really are and it is not with Jesus or even with his followers.  This guy is in it for personal gain and adoration.  He sees himself fulfilling the prophecy of a “One world religion.”  He, and the New Apostolic Reformation, is in a state of need for reform.  He and others compare themselves to Martin Luther.  There is a big difference, Martin Luther was fighting for the truth of the gospel, not trying to change and put a new spin on it like these heretics. Luther was not trying to justify himself by twisting scripture to meet his own needs.  Not trying to place himself and his intentions in the Bible.  He had no personal agenda and sought no personal gain.  He only sought truth!

 Here is a statement made by Mr. Rick Warren back in May 23, 2005.  He was speaking at the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.  Here is what he said.  “The word ‘fundamentalist’ actually comes from a document in the 1920’s called the Five Fundamentals of Faith.  And it is a very legalistic and narrow view of Christianity.”  The five fundamental of faith that Mr. Rick Warren objected to are;

• The inerrancy and full authority of the Bible
• The virgin birth and full Deity of Christ
• The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
• Christ atoning, vicarious death for the sins of the world
• The literal second coming of Jesus Christ

The very foundation of Christianity is contained in these five principals.  Mr. Warren is being disingenuous.  He does not want to start from scratch and build his own empire, but he is satisfied to steal the already existing church of Jesus Christ.  Sadder yet, the church is allowing it.  Every time someone complies with and agrees with this false doctrine it not only affects them, but others they pass it onto.  There will be judgment for this.  Jesus said that if we hurt one of His own, there is a deep price to pay.  Matthew 18:6 (KJV)
⁶ But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

The truth is that Rick Warren is not a leader.  He is a follower.  He has followed the teachings of many men but his ego will not allow him to mention or give credit to them for what he says.  His first fascination was with Robert Schuller, the man in the Crystal Cathedral.  This man who started his church preaching from the roof of a concession stand at an outdoor theater into the speakers that folks put on their car windows just as if they were at the outdoor, was a follower of and fascinated by Norman Vincent Peale.  Schuller purchased this old outdoor theater with plans to erect his church there.  The concept was so novel and clever that it drew thousands.  It took no time at all for the Crystal Cathedral to be built.  I often wonder if the people that attended Schuller’s church were truly interested in his message, or if it was just the novelty itself that drew them.  Schuller’s guru, as I said, was Norman Vincent Peale.  Norman’s claim to fame was “the power of positive thinking” that bares a striking resemblance to the teachings of the Christian Scientists and is nothing less than hyped New Age teaching.  In fact the New Age movement encourages the reading of the works of Norman Vincent Peale, and of making the Christian Science Reading Rooms your new library.  All of these men are part of a pattern.  Monkey see monkey do, but “I’ll do it better than you”.  The problem with all these “works” is that they sing of man and the works of the flesh.  Their focus is not on Jesus Christ and Him crucified and the miraculous work done on the Cross.  The following is a list of things that Rich Warren has come up with to unify all denominations.  He of course references another man’s thinking and ideas, Mac Dominick who has written a book called “Outcome Based Religion”.  But Warren in his  book, “The Purpose Driven Church” gives the following ideas that each church can tailor to the needs of their individual churches.  The problem being that in the end, all that embrace these “not so new” ideas, will become “Warrenites” with one “purpose” and it will lead, if Warren has his way, to a one world religion, HIS religion.  It will never be of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  (Its like my husband starting a church and calling it "The Church of Dave").  And yet people are following this man without doing the one thing that the Word of God cautions us all about and that is to “test the spirits” to make sure that they are not seducing spirits.  To me, anything that focuses on man and works of the flesh is not of God nor inspired by the Holy Spirit.  Here are the focuses of the Purpose Driven Church. They are so self serving and so obviously a drawing away from the Word of God that they are nothing less than evil in their intent.  Many of the statements below are absolutely New Age in their thinking and an insult to the one, true, and living God. 

• Perception must be changed from viewing people as “saved” or “lost” to “churched” and “unchurched”.
• Find out what impresses the unchurched in your community and do it.
• Bring in popular “heros” to attract the multitudes.
• Use the successful principles of retailing; accessibility, surplus, parking, inventory, service, visibility, and good cash flow.
• Pastors should model themselves after businessmen and plan strategically.
• “Do not preach expository sermons, you have to win them and build relationships”
• Move from a “theocentric” approach to ministry to a “human needs” approach.
• We must begin to say “I am not trying to convert any other religious people to my viewpoint.”
• There is no need for one to recognize his personal sin, no need for repentance, no need for the crucifixion of self.
• The Christ Spirit dwells in every human being.
• Christ was self-esteem incarnate.
•  Nothing exists except God.
• The most destructive thing that can be done to a human being is to tell him that he is a sinner.
• Sin is a single act or thought that robs oneself or another of his or her self-esteem.

I was also shocked to learn of just how deep into New Age thinking and the building of the flesh Robert Schuller is.  I, probably just like many of you, thought for years that this was a true lover and follower of Jesus Christ.  A striking man high in his pulpit dressed in his Sunday best vestments preaching the Word, looking quite striking and regal.  But, at that time I was a “passive” Christian, and a crowd follower.  Praise God that the Holy Spirit lifted me out of that complacency!!  I hope that through these blogs, he lifts you out as well. 

I have become equally shocked to learn of the constant parade of men and women, who the world thought were of God and followers of His Word, that have appeared on and have been regular guests on TBN.  It is the largest, and one of the most watched Christian networks in the world.  Millions of people worldwide contribute to this dead work called TBN, millions of dollars each year. TBN continues to this day to give air time to the likes of the New Apostolic Reformation, to the Purpose Driven Church movement, to the Oneness movement, and to the Word of Faith movement.  All of these movements are “movements of man" and not the workings of the Holy Spirit.  All are based on twisted scripture and works of the flesh.  Paul Crouch was called on this back in the 90’s and his response was so ugly that I had to put a transcript of his tirade in a previous blog.  All of these movements speak of a “paradigm shift” away from the “faith of our fathers”.  In reality, it is a shift away from God and a shift towards the works of man.  BUT, all of these churches go through the motions of being a church.  They gather, praise (if you can call some of that “head banging” noise praise).  They, oh to be sure, collect tithes, and do non- effective altar calls.  For many that are ignorant of the Word of God and yet through society and what it calls “religion” can walk into one of these churches and think they are just fine in that place and fall in line with whatever is being preached just like a bunch of zombies.  If you feel for one moment that we are talking to or about you…don’t just sit there and be duped, and much worse yet be lead away from the Message of the Cross, get up and leave that place and find one that teaches the true Word of God.  I admit that it becoming quite a task in these last days!

Another person that Rick Warren is a fan of and quotes often is Bernie Siegel.  Now to the people listening to Rick speak in glowing terms of this successful physician it seems harmless enough.  But if they knew that this man Bernie Siegel was a devout follower of the New Age, what would they think then?  Would they wonder why a so-called Christian is singing the praises of a man that could not be farther from God?  Would they question that he is quoting a man that believes in the tenets that New Age teaches and that is that all of us are a part of the physical God?  That Christ as God is in all of us.  That we are all in fact God?  If they knew the Word of God they would be furious.  Jesus warns of these false prophets who will come in His name, claiming to be Him.  Rick Warren teaches and believes that we all are indeed God to the extent that we are a part of “His fabric”.  New Age teaches that it would be like taking a giant magnifying glass to God and discovering that we all can be found on Him.  Part of us might be found in His eye lids, or part of His hands, or found on one of the hairs on His legs. Just as one can take a look under a microscope and see the friendly bacteria that lives on each of us.  What a base comparison of almighty God.  It is blasphemous in its very teaching.  However this is how the New Age justifies that we are all God.  And therefore we are all Christ too.  This is what Jesus was referring to.  Although men have appeared over the centuries actually claiming to be Jesus incarnate, this New Age teaching is a much more subtle and deceiving way of saying “I am Christ”.  All of the things that we just thought would occur in the end times, and that they would be happening way past our time on earth are actually here today!!  We are living in the end times and we all better wake up and smell the stench of deception!!

Rick Warren mentioned Bernie Siegel in chapter three of his book, The Purpose Driven Life.  He referenced Bernie as a person having “hope” and a true sense of “purpose”.  In this book Warren also made a reference to Isaiah and Job saying that they were “hopeless” men “without God”.  He accomplished this by giving his twisted view of scripture and by quoting “half scripture”.  This is the well know technique of all false religions, deceptive movements, and false prophets.  They go through all the translations of the Bible that they can get their hands on until they find just what suits their needs.  And in Rick Warren’s case this is a way of life for him.  In the endnotes of Warren’s book, the Purpose Driven Life, he shows fifteen different translations that  used to drive home his points.  (We consider the King James Version the only literal translation of the literal text and yet the other translations (fourteen in Warren’s case) are translations from the Westcott and Hort texts which used the corrupted Alexandrian text which has been further corrupted by liberal’s personal agendas and broad paraphrasing.  King James commissioned only scholars of his day that were students of Greek and Hebrew translations.  There was no “religious agenda” in the translation.  It was a pure and simple translation that was borne out ages later upon the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls.)  If all of these translations cannot drive home a point for Warren, he picks up his favorite Bible, a purely New Age Bible, and that is called “The Message Bible”.  This is NOT, as some might think, a harmless and clarifying paraphrasing of the true Word of God.  It is seducing in its language and misleading in its intent.  If you are using this so-called Bible, burn it!!

In Warren’s mind, most if not all characters in the Bible are simple minded losers.  In his book the Purpose Driven Life, he points this out in his opinion of Isaiah and Job.  He quotes Isaiah as he says that Isaiah complained, “I have labored to no purpose, I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing.” Job said, “my life drags by day after hopeless day and I give up.  I am tired of living.  Leave me alone.  My life makes no sense.”  Through using this “half quote” of Isaiah, Warren makes the statement that this life without purpose was a tragedy. He also gives a half quote of scripture in reference to Job as well.   Isaiah and Job’s lives were not without purpose and most certainly not without God.  It simply was their flesh speaking.  I have come home from work and flopped on my couch after a bad day and said worse than that.  But it was just the flesh venting and nothing more.  Warren also states that the greatest tragedy in life is not death but a life without purpose.  I beg to differ.  The greatest tragedy in life is falling in love with yourself and the sound of your own voice spewing your own self created wisdom.  It is pushing Jesus Christ out of your life with the exception of when you can use Him.  It is praising man instead of God.  It is leading man astray and having him follow you to satisfy your own insatiable ego driven purposes. 

Warren also refers to the church as “the force”.  In the Unity Church, which is strictly a New Age church, the celebration of the “force” is tantamount to God.  A cross is not hung behind the pulpit but a large round disc with wings attached as the focus of “force” for all who attend a service.  (If you have ever seen the wings that the Air Force wears on their uniforms, you can envision the “Force” emblem.)  There is no praising or worshiping, there is no discussion of God other than the embracing of the god in us all.  Of course they will take your money to support the furthering of their cause.  And there is always a time for deep meditation and humming.  I marveled when the Star Wars series of movies came out and they constantly greeted everyone with the saying, “may the force be with you.”  What an indoctrination of our kids back then, huh?  But I digress here.  When are we going to train our minds to hear these key words that these false men of God say? 

I had mentioned before how men of Warren’s caliber always had a staff of people to bail them out if someone was actually listening.  A listener that heard Rick Warren on some talk show and contacted his office regarding the comments he made about the five points that I laid out earlier and was put in contact with a staff member.  Suddenly, according to one of his quick thinking staff members what he REALLY said was that there is much more to the bible and Jesus than these five statements allow for.  He is a devout follower of Christ and always has been.  Pure schmoozing and lies. 

 I think that the things that I have written about make that statement about Warren a lie.  The things that I have written are not just the ravings of an angry Christian, but things that I have read about and that can be substantiated by fact.  And because these people that are working for him lie to protect him they too know what he and they are doing.  It is just more smoking mirrors, slight of hand, and deception!  It is like they think there is no God and He doesn’t hear what is going on.  God is not a fool nor will he be mocked! Galatians 6:6-8 (KJV) ⁶ Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. ⁷ Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. ⁸ For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  Why do these men bring the “world” and a false gospel into their churches if they are all about Jesus?  Why teach New Age in your church that denies His deity and gives that deity to you?!  Galatians 1:6-9 (KJV) ⁶ I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: ⁷ Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. ⁸ But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. ⁹ As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. And better yet, why do you embrace these teachings.  You say you don’t.  If you are part of this church movement, yes you do!

New Age is a counterfeit in itself and has the devil at its helm.  Seducing spirits direct its upward movement.  1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) ¹ Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

The New Age appears tame and tolerant on the surface.  As I told you before in previous blogs, I was a member in good standing in the New Age Movement.   I was looking for something other than “religion” when I turned from the Catholic Church to New Age.  I found acceptance.  Whatever and whomever I wanted to believe in was just fine with the movement.  But after years of reading and studying in the reading rooms, I found nothing that was not a counterfeit of what Jesus Christ was all about.  All that the New Age teaches, all that they do, all that they say they believe in is just a counterfeit of what Christ taught.  There is nothing new.  There is nothing different.  And if it were not for God they would have nothing to talk about or distort in the first place!!  There is a huge similarity with how New Ager’s receive their revelation and how the modern day, so called prophets, receive theirs.  They get a revelation from god.  I did not capitalize the word God here because what they hear doesn’t line up with scripture and therefore it is not from God Himself, but a seducing spirit!!  That is why the Word tells us to “test the spirits”. 1 John 4:1-6 (KJV) ¹ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. ² Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: ³ And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. ⁴ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ⁵ They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. ⁶ We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

 It is clearly the devil trying to be God.  An endeavor that got him cast down to earth in the first place.  And now he like all the other men and women that he whispers to, are trying to set up their kingdom on earth in the name of God.  However in the spiritual realm, the powers and principalities will not be overshadowed and replaced by delusional mere mortals.  Satan is the Prince of the air according to the Bible.  He has the ability, but the blood and name of Jesus gives us the authority over these powers of darkness.  But if you are following or are beguiled by these bogus religions and their teachers, you are not exercising your Christ given authority.  You are simply becoming a pawn in the dark plans of the evil one.  These powers of darkness that we Christians are told to fight against, will drag these men and women into Hell with them in the end.  Please, we implore you all, our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, do not be pulled with them into that tortuous and dark place known as Hell.  Don’t be deceived with “Purpose”!!!  Ask yourself this question.  Are you in a Purpose Driven church, or are you being driven from church on purpose?

KUNDALINI-The Counterfeit Holy Spirit, 3

Let’s get back to the roots of Kundalini and that once again leads us to Rodney Howard Browne.  I would like to think that perhaps Rodney was not using sound discernment and was in the wrong place at the wrong time and picked up this spirit.  Like it or not, this spirit manifests itself in his meetings and has for so long and it has spread like wildfire and is now world wide in Charismatic and Pentecostal settings.  I am in no way implying possession here.  But we, by our actions can attract these spirits.  Mr. Browne says that he received his “anointing” in Africa and that is was from God.  But let’s take a look at this spirit and compare it to what followed Rodney.

First of all, as we have discussed prior, there is absolutely no resemblance of what occurs in these meetings to anything that we find in the Bible unless it is the behavior of the demons that were cast out by Jesus.  But let’s take a look at the New Age and some of the Indian Guru’s.  There is nothing “new” about the New Age, but it was brought into the forefront in this country in the late 60’s onward.  The Beatles became swept up by the lure of Eastern “religion”.  They traveled with their personal Guru, and it drew young people by the thousands and the cult spread.  Experimentation with meditation, inviting spirit guides into ones soul, and acting as a medium for spirits became the “in” thing to do. Shirley McClain was well known for her participation in this lifestyle.  In reality this loosed many demonic entities into those who were acting as mediums and into the world in general.  It became an open invitation to evil.  And sadly the “powers” that were manifest drew the attention of endless thousands including Christians who should have known better.  But if you are a Christian in name only and do not “come out from among them” and have no working knowledge of the Word of God, this is what happens!

Ephesians 6: 11-18 gives Christians their daily armor, but sadly few don’t each day.  If you go out into the world without it you fall prey to what the world has to offer.  You find yourself fascinated with the things of this world and that leads to “yielding” yourself to things that to the human eye seem harmless.  If you would realize what easy prey you are for the enemy it would make you angry.  Oh how Satan loves to drag us around by the nose and get our noses into things and places it has no business being.  And then he stands before God and mocks our stupidity and accuses us night and day. Revelation 12:10 (KJV) ¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And we, in our ignorance simply allow it.  We need to wake up and each and every one of us needs to be responsible for our personal actions when it comes to what we allow around us and in our church!  Romans 16:17-18 (KJV) ¹⁷ Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
¹⁸ For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Just because the Pastor and seemingly everyone else is doing it does NOT make it okay.  These are the end times and we need to be smarter sheep!  Once again the words of my mother ring out. ”Just because everyone else jumps off a bridge, does that mean that you are going to jump too?!”  Rich, rich wisdom are found in those words.  Do we ever grow up?!  Do we ever learn?

Many of the manifestations that occur when a Guru “lays hands” on their subjects “imparting” (remember that word…”i m p a r t”) blessings are; uncontrollable laughing, roaring, barking, crying, shaking.  In some cases unconsciousness occurs as well.  If you do a search on the internet of Kundalini you will find confirmation of these manifestations.  The Guru touches his willing subjects on the forehead so they can experience the “Kundalini Awakening”.  Is it not odd that Rodney Howard Browne’s latest endeavor is what is called “The Great Awakening”?  It is on for hours on end on CTN (Christian Television Network) and it is broadcast around the world targeting mainly the youth of the world.  And Christian parents worldwide just send their children and young people off to these gatherings totally confident that all is well.  They won’t allow their children to go to a local park to play as there might be someone there who is not wholesome and might harm their child, but because these gatherings are “Christian” off they go unaccompanied.  We need to protect our youth from these vipers. 

Guru’s and those practicing New Age have for centuries operated in prophecy, words of knowledge, healings, miracles, and gifts of the spirit.  But it is not the Holy Spirit.  It is Kundalini, the counterfeit Holy Spirit.  If you are not into the Word of God, you can fall for this stuff.  I think, and this is my own opinion, that many an “average guy” minister, who longs for that huge congregation and the accolades of man will see this demonstration of power of the Kundalini spirit and think what a boost this will give to his personal cause.  Thinking only of his own upward mobility and status with man, and with no regard to the precious sheep, he himself becomes prey to this spirit and embraces it and brings it into his church.  Matthew 7:15-16 (KJV) ¹⁵ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. ¹⁶ Ye shall know them by their fruits.

This entire tragedy is at the hands of Satan who likes nothing more than to make a mockery of the precious Holy Spirit sent to us by a loving Father as our comforter.  A true comforter brings peace, calm, love, and a deep conviction and respect for the Father.  He does NOT lead people to do things such as “toke the ghost”, bark, roar, twitch uncontrollably.  And if you say that you do these things and don’t see anything wrong with it, you better step back and see just what you are involved with.  You CANNOT serve two masters!!  And you will be judged.

Our precious Holy Spirit brings true anointing.  He brings us a deeper awareness and knowledge of our Father in Heaven.  Each one of us MUST take a stand for Christ and expose what is going on in our churches.  What is being heralded as “The Great Awakening” and the “NEW Move of God” and if accompanied by the behaviors we have discussed in this series, it is exactly what the Word of God warns us of in the last days.  And as obvious as this counterfeit spirit is, and how the new “apostles and prophets” of today allow this intoxicating sprit to enter their churches with full knowledge of what they are doing so they will attain their wicked and self serving ends, the full responsibility falls on those who blindly follow.  In the legal system there is a saying that goes something like this.  Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it.  Now if a human judge will not let someone, once they have gone too far and have gotten into deep trouble, avoid the penalties of their actions, then how much more our Father who has provided us every means to know Him and His Word?  The following is to me one of the most frightening statements in the Word of God.  Proverbs 1:24-33 (KJV)
²⁴ Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
²⁵ But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
²⁶ I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
²⁷ When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
²⁸ Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
²⁹ For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
³⁰ They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
³¹ Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
³² For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
³³ But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

The church is headed full speed toward a cliff and it better wake up!  We need to take a stand for what is right.  I have spoken with more than one person that has told us that they do these things, but they do have a tugging in their spirits.  That tugging is the TRUE Holy Spirit telling you that this is not right!!  Not only did God give us His written Word, but he sent us someone to CONVICT us of it!!  How much more can a loving Father do?!  Take a stand for Jesus!  Confront these people.  Get your children away from them!  Throw these devils and deceivers out of your churches!  Get to know them and their backgrounds.  Get on the internet and do some digging because we are here to tell you that your very souls, and the souls of your children and countless Christians in general are at stake!!!   If you have a Bible for heavens sake read it.  Wake up.  Being in any meeting where false doctrine is preached and manifestations of “other” spirits are allowed to take place should enrage you.  Jesus came and paid a dear price for each of us and we just allow ourselves to be led by the nose down a path to hell.  I say, enough is enough.  Get mad, get up, speak up and then get out of these churches!!  Ephesians 5:11-14 (KJV)

¹² For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

As sad as this is the following are a list of people that are in leadership and are involved in one or all of the following and it is not of God.  The “movements” in the church today are The New Apostolic Reformation led primarily by Bill Hamon.  The Seven Mountain movement headed by Lance Wallnau.  The Great Awakening headed by Rodney Howard Browne.  Slushfests lead by John Crowder.  The Ramp lead by Karen Wheaton and husband.  Revivals such as Lakeland and led by the likes of Todd Bentley. (Do not be lied to.  Todd did not have those evil tattoos prior to his going into ministry.  That was said to put to rest the controversy that arose when they were looked at closer.  I have personally seen video of Todd when he first started preaching and he still had hair, no piercings nor any tattoos!  And as for the “healings” and miracles, not one, no not even one single incident could be validated by a legitimate medical doctor.  And do remember the woman that manifested on stage during one of the services and stood on one shoulder and the side of her head in a contortion that could not have been from the Holy Spirit or God!)  The Elijah list which promotes false prophets, publishes their prophecies and sells their books.  For more on the Elijah List “doings” go to www.honorofkings.org  and hear first hand from Kevin Kleint who worked for the Elijah List for seven years.  The ministries and sub ministries of Christian International who under the guise of the New Apostolic Reformation are the authors of Dominionism which is pure heresy and confirmation of this agenda can be found nowhere in the Word of God!  In this movement which has slithered around the world on it’s belly are apostles and prophets such as C. Peter Wagner, Bill Hamon, Che Ahn, John Arnott, Cindy Jacobs, Rick Joyner, Dutch Sheets, David Jeremiah, Charles Stanley, Jim Bakker, Todd Bentley, Chuck Pierce, Stacey Campbell, Bill Johnson, Bob Jones, Bobby Conner, Heidi and Roland Baker, Ras and Bev Robinson, Mike Bickle, Patricia King, Shaun Boltz, Matt Sorger, John Kelly, Paul Costa, Charles Capps, Ira Milligan, Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda, David Herzog, Paul Keith Davis, James Goll, Paul Cain, Frances Myles, Rodney Howard Browne, Bruce Cook, and the yearly “Kingdom Keys Summit” the above named, and countless others that do and do not have Christian International as their individual church bases.  There are just too many names to list here.  You will know them by their fruit.  We attended one of these churches and I challenged the so-called apostle as to why there were no altar calls, nor evangelizing.  They quickly saw to doing these things but only as a show and to keep any “questions” from rising.  My husband then corrected scripture that was being preached incorrectly from the pulpit and we were shunned.  They don’t want “sheep that know the Word of God, they want only “sheep” that will read what they put on the screen as truth and follow in silence!  Does that make you feel like a pawn?  Good!   (Some of the people above are missionaries as well and do much good for the poor in many nations.  However, doing good and being nice does not give one license to bring false doctrine into the church.  The good they do is outweighed by the harm they bring upon the sheep and their blasphemy toward the Holy Spirit and they will answer to God!)  Isaiah 1:11-15 (KJV)
¹¹ To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

¹³ Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

The Lord is sick of people using church as a means to their own ends.  He is sick of churches going through the motions.  He is sick of churches that think they are raising up holy hands while all the time they preach a hellish doctrine and believe that because those in the pews are buying into it, so does God.  Wrong!

And although he does not claim to be part of the NAR/Dominionism gang, we must warn you of Rick Warren.  He got his start at the knee of Robert Schuller who was and is a follower of Norman Vincent Peale.  Peale started the “the power of positive thinking movement.”  It preaches that everyman by only thinking positive thoughts can do anything.  This sadly puts the focus on the flesh and not on Christ where it belongs.  But Mr. Warren’s ego and his ties to the New Age are evident in his teachings, the company he keeps and those he allows into his church to preach to his flock.  He preaches from the “MESSAGE BIBLE”.  DO NOT be deceived!  This is not a harmless “paraphrase” of the King James Bible.  It is New Age in its purest form.  If you have it, BURN IT.  Mr. Warren on his web site recently had a link to the Dr. Oz show.  Dr. Oz may be a brilliant physician, and he may be able to dice up a human heart and put it back together on the operating table, but as far as his spiritual life goes, he is a devout follower of Eastern Religion and the New Age.  On his show he often advises meditation and yoga.  No wonder as his wife is a Yoga master.  To be exact, she is a Kundalini Master!  Going back to the day that I found Dr. OZ’s link on Rick Warren’s site, I clicked the link and the first thing I saw upon entering Dr. Oz’s site were the words, “Do you want to talk to the dead?”  The bible is clear that we should have nothing to do with the dead.  You must use good discernment when watching shows like Dr. Oz.  The things that are taught and discussed on that show can and will harm you spiritually especially if you are not aware of what it is you are listening to and you do not have a firm foundation in the Word of God.  And a question that I would ask is why would a man that professes profusely to be a man of God, have links to the sites of ungodly men?  And why does he speak those that are not Christian come to his church to speak?  Men who have known ties to secular psychology and the New Age?  Again, these men and the demons who are guiding them, and I am talking here of men that profess to be Christian.  They can only do these things when people blindly follow them out of an unhealthy adoration, or they sit like deer in the headlights and listen to whomever they put on stage.  If there was an outcry, even from a small minority, against these things, it would make a difference. 

 If you need proof that these men and women are false prophets take a look at what was spoken over Todd Bentley at the height of the Lakeland revival.  These words were spoken over and by a laying on of hands to Todd Bentley by C. Peter Wagner, in the presence of Che Ahn, and John Arnott.  Todd was anointed with special “Be Revived” oil that Chuck Pierce had sent from Africa. (Chuck could not attend as he was in Africa at the time)  Here is what the TV cameras witnessed.  “I take the apostolic authority that God has given me and I decree to Todd Bentley”, (This is C. Peter Wagner speaking here)

Your power will increase. 

Your authority will increase.

Your favor will increase.

Your influence will increase.

Your revelation will increase.

“I also decree that,

A new supernatural strength will flow through this ministry.

A new life force will penetrate this move of God.”

They prophesy what they desire to promote themselves. 

Well, the only thing that increased, despite the list of “increase” spoken over Todd was the truth of the “goings on” at that revival and the disgrace that this sideshow brought on the church in general.  Should we pray for the likes of these men and women?  Again we say yes, most definitely.  Their deception is deep, very deep indeed.  Jeremiah 23:21 (KJV) ²¹ I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

We hope that this series has helped you.  We do not mean to lead anyone into hate.  The very people that are doing these terrible things are themselves either deceived, or they are doing these things on purpose and we must pray for them.  Even though we will be dealing with them and what they are doing, we are actually coming against the horrible demonic forces that have taken control of their lives.  We are not calling anyone to violence, but to prayer and righteous anger.  Your best way to fight this evil is to simply not show up!  No actor can perform if there is no audience and that includes Satan!

Some of you might ask why we are doing this?  Are we not supposed to love one another as Christ loved us?  That is exactly the answer that these false prophets love to hear.  However the Word has the answer and gives us, all of us, the authority to point them out. Here are several verses of “authority”:

²⁰ Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
²¹ I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
²² Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (KJV)
² Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
³ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
⁴ And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Titus 2:15 (KJV)
¹⁵ These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

²⁴ And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
²⁵ In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
²⁶ And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

The last scripture is loving and gentle and we all should apply this scripture when dealing with our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.  We dearly love each one of you and it is our wish to meet one day in heaven.

KUNDALINI-The Counterfeit Holy Spirit, 2

We left off with John Crowder so we will pick up there. He is responsible for the “drunken craze”. He claims in his meetings that he is God’s bartender, as did Rodney Howard Browne. Crowder compares the infilling of the Holy Spirit to smoking marijuana. The most frightening part of all this is that this man has planted a new church in California in recent years and it is thriving. The youth are drawn to him as they do not have to “come out from among them” as the Bible teaches. 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 (KJV) 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

In fact, long time pastors such as Karen Wheaton and her husband, that are the founder’s of the “RAMP”, have, in our opinion, gone “back in among them” and are doing so in the name of growing their church and not the church of Jesus Christ. Wild dress, wild music, and wild behavior, just as they find in the world, is an integral part of their idea of what “today’s” Christ is all about. They are teaching the mission of Joel’s Army. They base their coming “violence” against a lost and dying and non-Christian world with the scripture from Matthew. Matthew 11:12-15 (KJV) 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. 15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. ( Not only have they perverted the entire scripture of Joel:3, but the above scripture as well.) The meaning of Matthew 11: 12-15 by verse is the following. "The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence" means that Christ had to come and be crucified for a lost and dying world that continually rejected God. The violence that Heaven suffered was the violent death of Christ. “And the violent take it by force” means that Christ, by His death on the Cross, took dominion of earth away from Satan. (Col 2: 14-15) These scriptures give no strength or basis for the Dominionist movement that is preying on our youth and our churches around the world. By allowing them to maintain their “worldly” emotions, they are keeping them from a true and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and that could cost them their salvation in the end. The Word tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8-9 (KJV) 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. 9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
This is one of the reasons, sadly one of the many reasons, we are writing this blog. We must warn people as to what they are participating in. The Bible tells us that we become a “new creature in Christ” when we are saved. Jesus tells us to “come out from among them”. And yet man is still so intent on following man. We see someone jerking all over and vibrating like a woofer in a speaker, and we think, “Wow, that person must really be in touch with the Holy Spirit!”, and so we endeavor to be just like that person so others will think “we have it” too. Nowhere in the bible does it speak of any of these manifestations and most certainly Jesus was never a trembler! In fact the Word tells us in 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV) 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Another of Crowder’s cronies, one David Vaughn, paints God as a real “party animal” who wants to win over today’s youth with “supernatural highs” and announces that Heaven is going to be wild where God will show up and be the life of the party! This is just blasphemy! These statements were made to a newspaper reporter in England during a “sloshfest” held there.

Other things that are taking place around the world and here in south central Texas is the gross fascination with angels, gold dust, glory clouds, and gems falling out of nowhere. Chasing “orbs of light”, (which those who call themselves “ghost hunters” refer to as “disembodied spirits”) and group meditations to call down the Third Heaven, and meetings in churches where you can book a half hour with prophetic leadership for insight and special direction. You can bet that the “special direction” will only be the special direction sanctioned by the apostolic leadership of that church! “Portals” is another fascination. (Oh how the New Age has crept into the church!) If a demonic portal is discerned by someone in the church, a call must be made to the hierarchy of the church in that area, and “special” people are dispatched to seal these demonic portals. This was very much a part of a church that we attended recently. We were told that Chuck Pierce was in charge of dispatching teams to attend to that end. How ludicrous that these men would take such time and pride in “portals” discerned by men, and yet they themselves fail in their quest of Dominionism to “test the spirits”. 1 John 4:1 (GW) 1 Dear friends, don't believe all people who say that they have the Spirit. Instead, test them. See whether the spirit they have is from God, because there are many false prophets in the world.

If you took in all that was in Part I of this series, and the little I have written in this article so far, you should have noticed a pattern forming. So let’s go back to where these “spirits” were unleashed in this country. We need to go to Florida and Rodney Howard Browne again. In 1993 I was living in Florida and the “Browne Invasion” was getting its sea legs. I was stunned that the church I attended seemed to approve of this madness. This particular church was pastored by a man that left a major denomination to become a “Spirit Filled” man of God. He spoke out against straying from the true written word of God and warned against having a religious spirit. That church began in a large unit of an industrial park when I served as a pastoral secretary while recovering from an automobile accident. At that time we had 33 members. When I moved away in 1994 the membership had grown to over 1000 and a huge church had been built. The adherence to the true Word of God, and to Christ and Him crucified had availed much for this church. However, like I said, the church seemed to take on a fascination with Mr. Browne and “ridiculous holy laughter” became a part of this wonderful church. This “allowance” was enough to open the door to many other spirits that were tagging along with Rodney. The Word of God warns us that a little leaven will leaven the whole batch! Luke 13:21 (KJV) 21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
As these spirits were allowed to enter the church, healing, which had been abundant, ceased all together. Gossip and dissension took hold of not only the membership but of the leadership as well. Two of the pastors that had been with the church from the beginning left. Love, patience, understanding, as well as all the other gifts of the Spirit, were replaced with judgment and back stabbing. The warning signs were many, and yet not one person even thought of reasoning, “okay, let’s go back and determine when all this evil began!” Instead pride and stubbornness took hold and for the sake of “being right” the church was destroyed as were many lives. Only the devil takes joy in this destruction and it was so obvious that what happened to this church was not of God! Once again, God’s precious sheep were torn to shreds. And once again, the Word of God had fore warned of these things. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 (KJV) 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

In that same time period, the “Toronto Blessing” became a focal point of the church. A Vineyard pastor, Randy Clark, took back and “imparted” what he had experienced at the hands of Rodney Howard Browne, to the Toronto Airport Church and thus the Toronto Blessing took flight. But unlike the true revivals of old, where the presence of God was rich with His Spirit, and His move of His Spirit brought people to repentance and a desire to return to holiness and a longing to be closer to their God and the things of the Spirit, these modern revivals are the work of the flesh! And they dared and still dare to call these so called revivals a “new move of God”. Again, we have covered that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever! But none the less, the New Apostolic Reformation, which is synonymous with the Dominionists are predicting a soon to come revival. As in all deceptions they are laced with some biblical truth to give them credibility. They are relying on the move of God that is assured in the Word. Joel 2:28-29(NIV) 28 'And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. Yes, since Pentecost our loving Heavenly Father, through the Holy Spirit has poured out His Spirit on all men. This continues to this day. But to take this particular scripture, using verses 28 and 29 to further their agenda is wrong. If you go on and read the rest of the verses, you will see that this scripture is taken out of context. Joel 2:30-32 (NIV) 30 I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. 32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls. It is clear that this is speaking of Israel when CHRIST will usher in the Kingdom Age. Once again remember that the Dominionists and NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) are convinced that they have been chosen by secret commission by God to usher in the Kingdom Age here on earth and once they have established earthly perfection, they will “summon” Jesus back to earth to see what a great job they have done! What gaul!! But be assured that the “revival” that these heretics, these men and women that preach the doctrines of devils, will usher in will not be of God. They will be a counterfeit, and they are counting on the lack of knowledge of most of the church when it comes to the Bible, to empower them as it has so far.

The same “big names” of the NAR made their way to the Toronto Blessing as well. Rodney Howard Browne had to come in person to see how his handy work had spread. (don’t forget the name Rodney Howard Browne as we will be covering some more dark things about him later in the blog) Jill Austin from Kansas City came as well. This woman was a dark figure. When this woman employed “laying on of hands” in her church terrible and violent manifestations occurred. How the demons must roar with laughter as they ply their trade and so called informed Christians fall for their dog and pony shows! When Jill would lay hands on people, there were times that these people literally flew through the air some 10 feet or more and landed on others including the elderly and small children hurting them. Does this sound like something the Holy Spirit would do? After being touched by Jill people would run around wildly, making barking noises, strange wailing noises and howling. THINK!! Does this sound like healed and delivered people or does it sound like the demoniacs and what they were manifesting BEFORE Jesus delivered them!? (Matt 8:28-) Pastors of the Charismatic movement and even the Assemblies of God, who up until the time of the “great deception” were the most conservative of the Pentecostals, were wooed and fell prey to this demonic miasma! And what is worse, they carried this diseased doctrine and its manifestations back to their churches!
It was at this nightmare called the “Toronto Blessing” that the enemy introduced even more manifestations and no sane person could deny the demonic presence in these manifestations. Instead of falling in the mighty presence of the Spirit of God and worshiping his glory, the following ensued. People were struck with wild eyed and almost maniacal laughter. Wild jerking of the body was uncontrollable. People fell on all fours and began barking like dogs and roaring like lions. Some were slithering on the floor like serpents, some making hissing noises. Some leadership that was present were appalled but fell to peer pressure, as so many do today with the NAR, and took the “impartation” back to their poor unsuspecting flocks. You will also see a pattern of “taking the impartation back” to the churches as a focal point of these types of meetings. The same was done after the Lakeland revival with Todd Bentley. Again, men are blindly, or even more tragically, following men and not God for the sake of position, recognition, and fame. This is what the “seducing spirits” are so good at and this is why God warns of this in His Word. But you say that it is not as bad as I am making it out to be. How about this? Kenneth Copeland is a driving force in the “Word of Faith” movement. He has literally millions of loyal followers. Whatever this man says is accepted without exception by his flock. He too fell for Rodney Howard Browne. He had Rodney on his program and the both of them were acting like idiots all in the name of “Holy Laughter”. How sad. And I am just certain that not every person in that audience was comfortable with what was happening. But the enemy comes in and convinces them that if Brother Copeland is approving of this, then it is okay and they need to press in and see the sense of it all. WRONG!! Follow NO man. Test the spirits. 1 John 4:1 (GW) 1” Dear friends, don't believe all people who say that they have the Spirit. Instead, test them. See whether the spirit they have is from God, because there are many false prophets in the world.” If what you are seeing is not in the precious Word of God…then speak up and leave!!!
Benny Hinn was asked what he thought about all these things that were going on especially the barking and roaring. Benny said that if anyone growled, barked, or roared in one of his services he would immediately cast the devil out of him! Even the late Dr. Summerall was asked his opinion about these new manifestations and he said plainly, “devils, devils, devils!”

I will end this second part of this blog with a few questions? Just how much longer do you think that the blood bought church, established by Jesus Christ, should put up with all this nonsense? How much longer should we allow the devil to attend our services and make a mockery out of them? How much longer will we be silent because it would be “rude” to speak out for Christ? How much longer will our silence see countless sheep lead to the destruction of their souls! I say this because if we knowingly keep silent, then we will be held accountable for these sheep at the time of judgment! Take a look at this…it is in the Word. Ever see or hear of it before? Proverbs 17:15 (KJV) 15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. Abomination is a very harsh word. Did you ever think that you could even remotely be an abomination before the Lord? Think hard. You just have one chance to get this right. Either please those around you, including your pastor, or choose God and choose life. Please pray for insight, wisdom and knowledge of the Word of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in all truth. And He will! In case you have found this latest blog “condemning” here is another scripture. Ephesians 5:10-17 (KJV) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And one more to learn as your armor, Jeremiah 23:21-32 (KJV) 21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. 23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? 24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. 25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. 26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; 27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal. 28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. 29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? 30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. 32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD. Why this scripture? Bill Hamon is basing his entire New Apostolic Reformation on a conversation that he claims to have had with God. He said that God told him “secret” things for him alone that he had been chosen to give to the church at the right time. GOD does not keep secrets from His people. That is the reason that He wrote the Bible in the first place. Why would God, our Father in Heaven, tell someone “secrets” or allow parts of the Bible that were necessary for our learning and that we will be judged by to be hidden from His children? Did Bill Hamon “test the spirits” that spoke to him? Did he check scripture? NO he did not. He claims to have attended a “Bible College”, by a miracle of God, somewhere in Portland, OR. He says that he entered this bible college in September, 1953. In October of 1953 he was prophesied over by the Presbytery of that “college” and became a “chosen one”. In February of 1954, he was “ORDAINED” by “a laying on of hands and ordination by the Presbytery” and not being given a sound education in biblical studies and truth!!! The only degrees that Dr. Hamon has ever received are the two degrees in theology, a Bachelors degree, and a Masters degree, that he gave himself after opening the Christian International School of Theology!! OH, and the “title” of Doctor, he states is an “honorary doctorate” given to him by “a well known and respected Christian University”. Again, he gives no name. Isn’t it amazing how many are following this man? He has no basis in the Word of God at all!!!! (This information is from the Preface in his book, “Prophets and Personal Prophesies”. The preface was written by his wife Evelyn).

KUNDALINI-The Counterfeit Holy Spirit, 1

I would like to point out that much of the knowledge that I have gleaned on this subject is from two sources. One, by first hand knowledge and second, the knowledge I attained from a book written by Andrew Strom, called “Kundalini Warning”. Every Christian needs to get a copy of this book, and read it!

Hopefully when you are done reading this particular blog, you will think long and hard about allowing just anyone, especially those you don’t know but profess to be of God, lay hands on you. You will become especially leery of running to meetings where others who have recently come from “outbreaks”, such as the recent Lakeland Revival, say that they are going to lay hands on everyone and “impart” what they received there. Because of the information that I want to get into your hands, this blog will have to be broken down into three blogs. I find that if a blog is too long, the discomfort of sitting in front of the computer reading distracts you from what is at hand. And this information is way too important to allow this to happen.

I would like to address some of the most outrageous events that have crept into the church over the past 15 to 20 years. When the church or individuals take their focus off of Christ and the Cross, they open themselves up to spirits that are sly and seducing and quite frankly are smarter and more cunning than man. That is how Satan orchestrated the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden. But for some reason people think that he is vacationing somewhere until the time of the Antichrist. That he would not dare orchestrate anything new, especially not in our churches. Many believe that Satan or a demon of hell would ignite and burn if they dare step foot in a house of God. Wrong again. And many just believe that we are just too smart to allow this to happen in our church. Sadly, the churches have been inviting these demonic spirits in throughout time by allowing things that are not of Christ to infiltrate the membership. Not wanting to “upset” anyone, they allow individuals that have gone to hear guest speakers that are preaching dangerous material, to come back to their churches and spread false doctrine. It has been a slow process, but a process none the less. The scripture below says it all Galatians 5:7-9 (KJV)
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? 8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. 9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
We are all fools if we do not think that the enemy of us all LOVES to work his evil way into all churches both small and great. I am going to take you on a short journey back through time to show you exactly how this has happened in the distant past, and the absolute inundation in the past 20 years. Believe it or not, the devil loves revivals, and has attended many. He loves to destroy any move of God.
First let me give you the description of true revival. The best way to describe it would be “God coming down”. Isaiah 6:1-4 (KJV) 1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
In this scripture Isaiah describes the Glory of the living God he saw. This is the Glory that descends and saturates a true revival of God. Not one orchestrated by man, but of God. With this glory, conviction follows. Frank Bartleman of the Azusa Street Revival wrote, “The depth of revival will be determined exactly by the depth of the spirit of repentance.” Jonathan Edwards of the first Great Awakening in America preached a sermon entitled “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”. All true revival always has conviction of sin and a deep longing for repentance at the heart of it. In these past revivals, people were so moved by the TRUE presence of God they found it impossible to stand in the presence of it. Adults and children alike were slain in the presence of the living God and cried out for purity, holiness, and repentance. It was a cleansing of the church so that it can continue, unimpeded, with the work of Jesus Christ in that a pure and unadulterated gospel be preached unto all the world! And yet TRUE prophets in the Apostolic churches today are told that no “Word” of correction can be given. They are ordered to only speak words that edify the church and only as they determine what they consider edification is. What better edification than a call to holiness?
The Glory of God is not a “Glory Cloud” that is so popular in many churches today. We were visiting a church where a “Glory Cloud” supposedly showed up just after everyone had left the last service. How convenient! But the apostle had the quickness of mind to film the event! A DVD was put on the screen of this event the following service. It showed the spot lights over the stage and bits of “stuff” swirling about the lights. I have seen this before. Leave a light or lamp on that you are dusting and you can have your own “Glory Cloud”. Why don’t I buy this manifestation? Because if our loving Heavenly Father were going to have His Glory descend it would not be to an empty building! Can you just imagine God saying….”oh darn, I missed them!” God knows what He is doing. And had that been the Glory of God the Pastor would have been slain in it, and not running for a camera. And yet we heard over 700 people ooooo!! and ahhhhh!! at the DVD. The first commandment says, “I am the Lord your God and you shall not have any other gods before me.” I would imagine that “dust” would fall into that category if it were worshiped as we witnessed!
Let’s move forward to the, what can only be referred to as the “outburst” of the Charismatic movement. In the early 90’s a man from South Africa appeared on the Charismatic scene. He set up shop in Florida. You may recall the outbreak of “Holy Laughter”. The extent to which this “holy laughter” grew was and is in no way scriptural! This spirit that accompanied Rodney Howard Browne that spread throughout the crowds that mobbed to see him was alarming. I saw videos of people rolling and screaming in laughter. I saw women who with no concern for modesty or the men and children around them lifted their dress clad legs in the air exposing everything. I saw people roaring with laughter that got up and literally walked on people on the floor and falling on top of people on the floor. Does this sound like a move of the Holy God we know? And yet people of the Charismatic movement still today speak of it in awe. But we will leave this subject for now and move on to where this craze was carried, and, like a snowball rolling down a steep hill, has become a destructive avalanche that is burying our churches today. Burying their true purpose that is to preach THE gospel of Jesus Christ and to take it into all the world.
Let’s go back to the beginning of Revivals. Many somehow think that Revival is a recent creation of the church. Why? because it is billed that way to gather many to the church having the revival. “Come expecting a miracle!” “Come to see our special and famous speakers and here our singers who has sold countless millions of CD’s and have appeared on the most popular Christian network on the air today!” Gee, with all that going for this particular “revival” is there even room for the Holy Spirit, the only true provider of revival? The first revival that I could find was in 1744. It was in the Boston area. It was considered the First Great Awakening. Unfortunately, due to the “performance” of the preacher, John Davenport, and others hand picked by him, the revival came to an abrupt end. They would scream and dance and gyrate all over the stage. This became a show that had some laughing and others furious. However, others got caught up in the excess and began swooning and slithering on the floor like snakes and some appeared to be having seizures. It looked like anything but sober Christians worshiping God. Despite the “show” this so called revival went on for three years and almost tore the early church apart and many left the church altogether. This is what happens when the enemy sends a “false spirit” into a revival, and instead of the church recognizing it, they just go with it because “important” people seem to think it is okay. Reminder here…when you follow man, you are doomed.
Just over 50 years later, the Second Great Awakening occurred. It was centered in Kentucky. In the beginning there was a tremendous move of God which was followed by a great conviction of sin and repentance. People were unable to stand in the presence of this true glory of God. Many would cry out for purity and God’s mercy. And after a time, many felt the true forgiveness of God flood their souls and they were changed. This is what can be expected in a true revival! This revival in its purest state lasted for about a year. As the revival spread through Kentucky and the Camp-meetings became much larger, strange manifestation began to take place. And as this revival spread west the entire revival was almost destroyed by the enemy. The Kentucky revival had enough knowledgeable preachers that the manifestations were warned against and when the enemy doesn’t have an audience, and it told to leave, he must flee.
So you ask what were these manifestations? An eyewitness by the name of T. W. Caskey described these in detail. There was uncontrollable laughter, what appeared to be uncontrollable body gesturing as quick body jerks. People were barking like dogs and roaring like lions. People looked almost terrified as they would begin to laugh, jerk, dance uncontrollably until they fell in a death-like swoon. HOWEVER, these wise people didn’t just assume that all of these manifestations were of God. They began to search the Scriptures and “TEST THE SPIRITS”. Finding that these “spirits” were not of God, they prayed against them and refused to take part, thus saving the move of God. We have free will folks and we must all “test the spirits” and not just go along with whatever is happening for the sake of fitting in. Or worse yet, wanting what is happening to others that is not of God!! Unfortunately these bizarre occurrences made people leery of anything that even looked like a revival for years. So the enemy had done his work.
In 1904, The Welsh Revival took place and it only lasted 18 months before the enemy destroyed it as well.
Let’s move to today’s church. All should heed the words of the great revivalist John Wesley who said, “At first revival is true and pure, but after a few weeks watch for COUNTERFEITS!” I will now share some of what is going on in so called revivals and camp-meetings today.
You may or may not recognize some of the names that I am going to give here. Google them and read and learn. What they are carrying and dispensing in the churches today is evil. And yet countless millions are following these men and not God and they are most assuredly not TESTING THE SPIRITS!! This includes prominent pastors and Christian TV personalities as well!!
It is 2010. A huge Christian event is taking place. Two leaders are on stage and they look like they just left the nearest bar. They are reeling all over the stage as if drunk or stoned. They are laughing uncontrollably. The audience, instead of being shocked, is screaming its approval at what they are seeing. One of the men, John Crowder (who’s followers proudly call themselves “Crowderites”) has something in his hand that he appears to be smoking. It is white like a cigarette or joint. In reality it is his favorite prop. It is a small plastic Jesus doll. Crowder calls to the crowd and claims that he is “drunk in the spirit” because he is “toking the Ghost”…meaning what? The Holy Spirit, or Jesus’ spirit? What blasphemy! His partner in this insanity is Ben Dunn. This is the RIVER MOVEMENT. They hold “sloshfests” and “drunken glory” tours. The Charismatic movement has embraced this movement as a “move of God” and they are targeting our youth. Have you ever wondered why churches today do not teach the scripture? 2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV) 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” Why some churches, especially those that are a part of the extreme Charismatic movement, welcome in the youth, and then tell them that they do not have to change, that God loves them just the way they are? If God loved them just the way they were, then salvation would be a farce. Jesus did not have to die on the cross. Why would men like Crowder get up on stage and act like a drunken fool? Why would they mock Jesus in front of our youth? Are you saying now that these are just a couple of guys? Are you saying that you have never heard of them so how much harm could they really do? I tell you, one lost sheep is one too many! What if I were to tell you that the following supposedly respected men and women of God have appeared with these men. Do you recognize the following names? James Goll, Heidi Baker, Cal Pierce (of the Healing Rooms), Bobby Conner, Patricia King and those two men are personal friends of Todd Bentley. And Ben Dunn has been invited to teach at Bill Johnson’s famous “Bethel School of Ministry” in Redding, CA. How about these well known and respected Charismatics standing by and accepting the publishing of Mr. Crowder’s new book, The New Mystics!? What place does mysticism have in Christianity? And all this mess is just in one recent “new move of the spirit”. I assure you that this “River Movement” is not of THE Holy Spirit! Before I was saved in 1986, I spent 10 years in the New Age Movement. The most dangerous and frightening doctrine on the face of the Earth and it is demonic. All of what is listed above is pure New Age. Do you think that anyone, any pastor that knows that his flock is attending these “shows”, any of the participants, ever thought to TEST THE SPIRITS?
